I’ve lost my husband and my job.  What I did not lose is the love of two of the most amazing creatures in the universe, my children.  Our struggle is not just about survival, it is about finding ways to improve our independence, integrity, and character.  Parenting is hard.  There is no handbook, no refunds, and no exchanges.  You do what you must.
